Old Georgetown Grille holds a special place in my heart, having visited it since childhood. It's a no-frills, classic diner that consistently delivers quality fare with generous portions. On my recent visit, I opted for the Italian omelette, a satisfying and flavorful dish that struck just the right balance of richness and heartiness. The ingredients were fresh, and it was prepared with a careful attention to detail, making for a fulfilling breakfast. Service was warm and efficient, as always, and though the ambiance remains modest, it has a welcoming, nostalgic charm. I also ordered the lunch special--chicken kabob with rice--to go. The dish was perfectly warm and packed, ready to enjoy when I was prepared to leave, which showed the care they take in accommodating their customers. The portion size was substantial, and the kabob was tender, accompanied by well-seasoned rice. If you're seeking a generous, comforting diner-style breakfast or brunch in Bethesda, Old Georgetown Grille won't disappoint. It's a spot where friendly service and simple, satisfying food come together for a reliable dining experience.

I have been going to this restaurant for forever and I absolutely love it. I always order pancakes or a waffle and it always comes out just right. The servers are very friendly and the service is great. The restaurant feels super cozy. I would definitely recommend.

Nothing fancy. Just a good, comfortable, reasonably priced place to get a good breakfast at a good price. Excellent and friendly service. Omelettes with home fries delicious. The home fries are nicely cooked and are flavorful. Pancakes and specials also look good. Unfortunately, word is that this place will close at the end of the year to be replaced by a high rise or some other development. Too bad.

My favorite breakfast place. Nothing fancy, just good, basic diner food. And the staff are always friendly.

The food was delightful. I did take out and ordered a veggie egg white omelet that came with yummy potatoes and toast (I opted out of the toast). Everything was fresh and tasty. The potatoes were light and fluffy, not the oily frozen home fries that I've come to expect and reject. The staff was friendly and seemed to intentionally connect with their customers. Parking may not be in front but it's nearby.

Basic neighborhood diner-like eatery with large breakfast menu. Friendly service. Prices reasonable. Parking nearby provided by Montgomery county which is free on weekends and holidays.

This is my favorite breakfast place in Bethesda. So many blocks in that area have changed beyond recognition, but this place on the corner has been a constant for years. There is metered parking on the street around the corner, plus a county garage directly across St. Elmo. It looks to me like the ownership may have changed, but the great quality has not. They have many options on their all day menu. We had breakfast today: I chose a spinach and feta omelet, which was perfect. Grits are an option instead of potatoes, and grits always make me happy. They have table service; this is not a "place your order at the counter" experience. It is a friendly, relaxing spot.

Another visit with my parents on a Saturday morning. We got seated upon arrival at a table near the window as it was pretty packed at around 10:20 AM. Got some coffee, Orange Juice, Water along with our breakfast entrees. I got a Ham and Cheese Omelette and it tasted great! Service is always excellent by a Korean family who runs the restaurant. Great to support this local business!
